Sea lettuce and sea water, two marine sources for our magnesium
Sea lettuce
The seaweed is harvested by hand from April to October. It is washed and then dried at a low temperature to preserve the active ingredients.
The extraction is done with concentrated sea water, and yes, life began in the ocean, we haven’t forgotten that!
Marine magnesium is often well tolerated but its association with a plant source will reduce digestive intolerance.
As pesticides and GMOs are banned from organic farming, DoubleMAG will contain only negligible amounts of pesticide residues.
How to supplement with Magnesium?
Recommendations from the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) for Magnesium are :
- For infants : 80 mg/day, children 1 to 3 years: 170 mg/jour, and 3 to 10 years: 230 mg/day
- Children 10-18 years old: 300 mg/day for boys, 250 mg/day for girls
- For men: 350 mg/day, and women: 300 mg/day
Each tablet of DoubleMAG contains 100 mg of magnesium.
In addition to your diet, swallowing two DoubleMAG tablets every morning with a glass of water will provide you with 200 mg of magnesium.
This is 53% of the reference magnesium intake set at 375 mg in Europe. However, the NHS recommends not exceeding a daily dose of 300 mg of magnesium for men, 270mg for women.
